- Marmuri Cave: one kilometre underground in Ulassai, one of the largest in Europe.
- Sa Portiscra Wildlife Oasis: 10 hectares at an altitude of 800 metres, home to golden eagles, mouflons, and Sardinian red deer.
- The nuragic complex of Or Murales: around a hundred huts set amongst the dense vegetation, amongst the largest and best-preserved in Sardinia.
- Blue Zone: Ogliastra is one of the five longevity zones in the world.
